My Passion Projects

The Lukas Project
Watching my dear friend battle, and in the end, succumb to cancer, is the biggest tragedy I've known.  It was also the beginning of Kids Without Yachts, and my ambition to help others in similar situations. With his death, Lukas inspires compassion for other kids with cancer, and a willingness to do more for those who need it most.  His departure has been a tremendous motivator for the forces of good in my life, and countless others.
The Aaron Project

The second KWY project, and the continuation of our fallen brother's legacy.  As with Lukas, Aaron's fight against cancer was inevitably lost.  He was a tenacious opponent and is an enduring inspiration for resilience and strength.  The hardships Aaron and his family underwent were grave, and an excellent example of why KWY exists.  They still need your help.  If you're capable of giving it, please follow the link below.

The School Project

Embark on a journey of transformation and empowerment as we share the heartwarming tale of compassion and community that fueled our mission in Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar. In 2019, inspired by a profound encounter with Pwae Taung Middle School, Simon Fawkes and his family set out to address a critical need: a dilapidated library failing to meet the needs of 650 eager students. Determined to make a difference KWY launched an ambitious initiative to build a new library. Through the unwavering support of our community, we rallied together and raised over $12,000, showcasing the remarkable power of collective action and empathy.
