Hi dear friends,

I hope this message finds you well and filled with the same warmth and gratitude that I'm experiencing as I sit down to share with you something very close to my heart.

In the realm of business, success can often be measured in numbers and figures, but there's a different kind of fulfillment that comes from making a positive impact in the lives of others. Today, I want to shine a light on something that brings me immense pride - the work we've been doing through my Not-For-Profit organization, Kids Without Yachts.

While each project we undertake holds its own significance, today, I found myself drawn to reflect upon one in particular - The School Project. It's a story that embodies the power of compassion, community, and the ripple effect of small acts of kindness.

It all began in 2019 when my dear friend, Simon Fawkes, and his family returned from a transformative trip to Myanmar. Their experiences in the town of Pyin Oo Lwin left an indelible mark on their hearts, particularly their interactions with the students and faculty of Pwae Taung Middle School.

Through conversations with a local businessman, Min Nyunt, they uncovered a pressing issue plaguing the school - the woefully inadequate library. Picture this - a cramped 500 square foot room, devoid of natural light, plagued by dust in dry seasons, and waterlogged during the wet ones. It was hardly an environment conducive to nurturing a love for reading and learning among the 650 students it served.

Determined to make a difference, we rallied behind Min's initiative to build a new library. Thus began a collaborative effort between Kids Without Yachts and Habitat & Co., Simon's organization, to raise the necessary funds and bring this vision to life.

On September 20th, 2019, our collective efforts culminated in a remarkable achievement - we successfully raised over $12,000 to construct the new library. It was a moment of triumph, a testament to what can be accomplished when hearts and hands join together in pursuit of a common goal.

But the impact of The School Project extends far beyond the bricks and mortar of a new library. It's about igniting a passion for learning, empowering communities, and fostering a sense of hope for a brighter future. And for that, I am endlessly grateful to each and every person who contributed their time, resources, and love to this endeavor.

As I reflect on the journey we've embarked upon, I'm filled with renewed determination to continue making a difference, one project at a time. If you're inspired to join us on this mission to create positive change, I invite you to explore how you can get involved at www.kidswithoutyachts.org.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a part of our journey. Together, we can truly make a difference and build a brighter future for all.

With gratitude,

Simon
